App: Oscar’s Renamer

This little application has come in handy countless times at my job.  With this app you can view a directory of files through a text editor, and from there you can quickly rename your files, because you don’t need to right click (or press F2) each file to edit the file name.  The program has a search and replace, but it’s very basic.  The majority of the time, I end up copying the file list in the text editor window over to ultraedit or excel, do my changes there, and then paste the modifications back to Oscar’s Renamer.
