Today I completed Week 5 Day 2 of the Couch-to-5k running plan, which consisted of:

Running for 8 minutes,

Walking for 5 minutes,

And concluded by another 8 minute run.

The last time I did this day a couple of years back, I don’t think I experienced so much trouble getting through it.  The problem was that my lower back muscles felt completely exhausted for some reason, and I just felt like resting for a bit so my muscles could get some rest.  But I just kept pushing myself to keep running.  Seeing how I didn’t do so well today, I’m excited to take on Friday’s 20 minute run challenge!  I want to see if I can push myself to keep running even through the pain and exhaustion.  I’m sure I can do it.
